Marc de Reuver just got the green light from his doctor
Marc de Reuver just got the green light from his doctor to resume his bike
training. The Dutch rider fell heavily nine weeks ago, dislocating his hip and
fracturing three back vertebrae. Besides this, de Reuver tore muscles in his
stomach, and suffered a pelvis injury.
De Reuver started with light cycle training four weeks after his accident, and
at the six week mark, full training could resume. It was a difficult period, but
the Honda Martin rider did all he could to be fit in time.
The doctor has now ok'ed resumption of bike training. De Reuver will first test
the waters before deciding at which GP to make his comeback.
